1. Who we are
Business Empire Manager ("BEM", "the Game", "we", "us") is operated by Vladimirs Tammeoja.
Contact: tammeoja@simulao.com
2. Summary
- You can play without giving us your real name, email address or phone number. You choose a username and a company name, and those are visible to other players.
- We store your game progress on our servers.
- We use analytics and attribution tools to understand how the game is used and where new players come from.
- We show advertising, including rewarded video ads. On iOS you control tracking through the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- BEM is a multiplayer game. Some of what you do is visible to other players by design, including the fact that your in-game company can be taken over by them.
- Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your card or bank details.

3.3 Data we receive from third parties
- Apple — confirmation that a purchase is valid, aggregated App Store analytics, and Apple Search Ads attribution. Apple does not give us your payment details.
- Our attribution provider (MMP) — which advertising campaign or channel a new install came from.
- Advertising networks — aggregated reports on impressions, clicks and revenue.

5. Multiplayer: what other players can see
BEM is a competitive multiplayer game. Some information is shared with other players by design. Please do not put anything private or identifying into your username, company name or chat messages.
Visible to other players
- Your username and company name
- Your company's public standing: capitalization, leaderboard and Capitalization Top position, season results, level and ranking
- Your company's listing on the in-game stock exchange once you qualify, including share price and share ownership
- Your chat messages in public channels
- Your participation in auctions, including the current leading bid and the leading bidder
Actions other players can take that affect your company
- Other players can buy shares in your company on the stock exchange.
- Other players can attempt a hostile takeover of your company.
- Sustained control by another player can result in a merger, in which your company is permanently absorbed into theirs and the shares are combined.
These outcomes are game mechanics. They change the state of your in-game company; they never give another player access to your account, your device data, your purchase history or any information about you outside the game.
Chat
In-game chat is player-generated. We may store, review and moderate chat messages to enforce our rules and respond to reports of abuse. Messages you have sent may remain visible to their recipients, and may be retained in our moderation records as evidence of a rule violation.
6. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how players use the game — which features are used, where players get stuck, how retention and onboarding perform. This is measured with an app-instance identifier and event data, not with your real identity. Google acts as our processor for this data.
7. Advertising and attribution
7.1 Ads in the game
The free version of BEM is funded by advertising. We show:
- Rewarded video ads — you choose to watch them in exchange for an in-game reward
- Interstitial ads — limited and rate-capped
- Banner ads — kept to a minimum
We work with third-party advertising networks and a mediation provider. Ad providers may process your device type, OS, language, coarse location, ad interaction events and, where permitted, an advertising identifier, in order to select and measure ads and to detect ad fraud.
Ads are part of the free version of the game. If you would prefer not to see ads, the game offers a "30 DAYS AD-FREE" in-app purchase.
7.2 Attribution
We use a mobile measurement partner (MMP) to see which marketing campaign led to an install. This uses device and install signals, and where available Apple's SKAdNetwork or AdAttributionKit, which returns aggregated and privacy-preserving results to us. We also run campaigns on Apple Search Ads and other advertising platforms, and receive aggregated performance reporting from them.
7.3 Your controls on iOS
- App Tracking Transparency: iOS asks whether BEM may track you across apps and websites. If you decline, we and our partners will not use the IDFA. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland: where required, we present a consent dialog for analytics and personalised advertising when you first play. If you want to change your choice afterwards, contact us at tammeoja@simulao.com.
8. Purchases
In-app purchases such as "10 EMPIRE TOKENS" and "30 DAYS AD-FREE" are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment method; we never receive or store your card number, bank details or billing address.
We receive and store a purchase receipt, the product purchased, the transaction identifier and the date, so we can grant your entitlement, restore purchases, prevent fraudulent receipts and handle support and refund requests. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms.
